In the current issue of In Touch Magazine Joe Simpson, Jessica's father and manager, was quoted, just to them, "Unlike Nick, John already has an established career, so Jessica doesn't have to compete with him." Am I missing something? What she done lately for pop to rip in Nick like that. It's funny that he is saying this as Nick was the bigger star and was worth the most at the time of their marrige, she was in debt because her sophomore album flopped. So she makes a few bucks and that gives the Simpson's entitlement. I am waiting for the day that Nick just rips all of them a new one after this comment for her dad.

John, get out why you can, you don't want to piss off Papa Joe.

Another great quote from the 'Great' Papa Joe, in reference to Britney Spears meltdown.
"I would never let that happen to my daughter." Riiiight, because you have not exploited your daughters for your own monetary gain.

I was always a Nick Lachey fan and it is unfortunate that money seems to be the only was to establish your worth as a person, but after reading these quotes, he was smart to wipe his hands of it when he did.

53. I agree with # 48 and thanks for your interesting post. Nick will always be worth more than Jessica because you can not put a dollar value on good character. Nick married Jessica when she was a nobody, and she got more attention because she was cute, blonde, and ditzy, but now it's old and boring. And Papa Simpson had the nerve to say "Unlike Nick, John already has an established career, so Jessica doesn't have to compete with him." One does not compete with each other when married, it's team work. And there is no comparison between John and Jessica because Jessica does not have talent.

They have the hots for each other - You can see that for sure as Jessica leans in towards him always in pictures - they don't care about what they look like or how exciting they seem to the public. It's about the sex. I don't think Jessica Boob Baby was this hot for Nick and that's why it ended in divorce. I think they look alike when they smile.

59. #57 Needs his/her eyes examined. John is not even embracing her. I'm sure Jessica and Nick had hot sex during the first two years, but after that it gets comfortable and familiar which is normal. It will be the same for John and Jessica. Jessica will get tired of having to do all the work in bed, but she will continue because money is more important to her than anything else, and John has the money.
